  • Saint-Michel fountain, meeting point of many students, starting point of the discovery of the medival quarter including St Séverin and St Julien le Pauvre, some of the oldest churches in Paris,

  • Place Maubert, the oldest and probably most popular food market of the city,

  • Les Bernardins, an ancient cistercian convent and college, gem of gothic architecture

  • Meeting with Old Paris and the "Lost Generation" souvenirs at Place de la Contre-escarpe,

  • The Pantheon inspiration for the American Congress, last home for the Nation great men and women,

  • Philippe August' city wall and Saint-Etienne du Mont, one of the most beautiful church in Paris,

  • The Sorbonne Universityand the near by Luxembourg Gardens, popular with students to relax after classes...

 

 Nota: possibility to end the tour at Hôtel de Cluny, Medival Arts Dept of Le Louvre (e.g. The Cloisters/NYC Met).
